Born to musician parents with a home recording studio, 19-year-old singer-songwriter Gabriel Reid has been immersed in music his entire life. A student in the Digital Audio Recording Arts program at the University of St. Francis, Gabriel has spent his time there independently writing, recording, producing, and mixing his debut album In the Morning, working with some of the Chicagoland area’s finest musicians, including singer-songwriter Natalie Ivnik on vocals, drummer/keyboardist/composer Larry Ortega on drums, and internationally renowned harmonica player Joe Filisko. The resulting album features dynamic and expansive acoustic-rock, combining technical and energetic guitar-work with lyrical vocal harmonies and deeply layered arrangements.
