Orville Kline will be doing an overview of Ableton 11 to start the evening followed by USF’s DARA OS Ensemble. DARA Os will showcase all original compositions performed on the Ableton Push. Join us to see seven Mac computers synchronized together controlling MIDI sequencers, a DMX light show, and video… creating an immersive musical experience.

DJ. Producer. Guitarist. Engineer. Educator. Many words can be used to describe Orville Kline. When he’s not performing in front of crowds of thousands around the world, Orville finds time to share what he learned in the studio and on stage with others. Years of studio experience in engineering and producing music naturally led Orville to become one of Chicago’s most in-demand Ableton Certified Trainers.
The DARA OS Ensemble is an electronic ensemble made up of college students that are part of the Digital Audio Recording Arts program at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. DARA stands for Digital Audio Recording Arts and OS stands for Original Saints, short is DARA OS.
The students compose original songs, mash-ups, remixes, experimental pieces, and perform them using music technology.
