- Career options: Artist, audio engineer, live sound, music producer, music editor, music publishing, studio owner, composer, music/audio instructor, etc.
- Why copyright laws exist?
- Song forms
- Analyze great songs…. why are they great, will they always be great?
- The nuts and bolts of digital audio
- Easy music theory teaching moments
- Understanding & morphing styles: Change rap to country, etc.
- Best 3 rappers ever
Using Ableton Push:
- 8 bar loop of jazz music, let students jam over with Ableton Push
- Manipulate loops: classic, splice, one-shot
- Melodic seqencer
- Beat sequencer
- Open jam
