This summer Jeff Jaskowiak the director of the Digital Audio Recording Arts at USF was hired to design and install a new recording studio and music production lab at the Chicago Academy for the Arts High School. This came about thru the generous gift of songwriter Justin Tranter an alum of the Academy. Jeff was contacted by Jason Patera, the Head of School at the Academy to bring this goal to fruition.  On September 20, was the grand opening of the studio and music production facility.   Many media organizations were present at the event.   And the best part is Jack Murray a USF DARA graduate was hired to be the new director of Recording Arts and Commercial Music at the Chicago Academy for the Arts.
